Amy + Pete | Adelaide Hills Wedding

Amy and Pete first met, 3 years ago at after work drinks at the Franklin Hotel. Amy’s friend’s housemate was part of the work group that Pete was with, they locked eyes and the rest is history!

Their beautiful Wedding day started off  at Amy’s parents house where her and her sisters/Bridesmaids, Hilary and Rebecca, were getting ready for the big day. I arrived to a house full of hustle, bustle and excitement. Amy was glowing and her parents had such a look of pride on their faces as they heard her talk about how everything was on track and she just couldn’t wait to head to the church. Amy’s two flower girls, nieces Zara and Sophia, were getting ready with the help of their parents and had the most gorgeous flower crowns I ever did see as well as “fairy dust” eye shadow which they though was just the best thing ever! Once it was time,  Amy had slipped into her stunning gown and we headed outside for some photos.

I then met Pete, his parents and Brothers/Groomsmen, Mark and David, at St John’s Church in Adelaide. Guests started to arrive and soon enough the church was near full! Amy arrived and the traditional ceremony began. Afterwards guests were treated to a champagne reception on the church’s garden. For a Winter’s day the sun was shining with clear skies. Amy, Pete and I then headed to their reception venue, Maximilian’s in the Adelaide Hills, for their Bridal Portraits. After being witness to a stunning sunset over the hills, Amy and Pete had a quick hit of golf and we headed to the reception where they began greeting guests.

The permanent marquee that resides at Maximilian’s was gorgeously decorated with fairy lights, hanging pendant and gorgeous blooms. Musician, Ash Gale had already begun serenading the room with his amazing tone and tunes and added to the warmth in the room, a warmth that was so perfect it complimented the feel for the night. Guests dined on delicious food and wine, were entertained with hilarious yet heartfelt speeches, ate scrumptious Wedding cake and danced the night away with Amy and Pete at the lead.

Amy and Pete, what a day! It truly was perfect in every single way and I absolutely loved being there to document it for you both xo
