On a lovely spring afternoon, 15 years in the making, Campbell and Fara were married in an intimate ceremony at the beautiful Grange Beach.
The morning started at Faras best friend and Maid of Honour, Kristys home. Hair and makeup was artfully applied, jewellery was carefully placed and champagne was popped. Giselle, Faras niece and flower girl, ran around excitedly in her gorgeous dress and flower crown. Faras family soon arrived along with the gorgeous florals created by a friend of the brides. She slipped on her gorgeous gown & shoes and said “It’s finally feeling real!”.
I headed off to Grange Jetty to meet Campbell and his groomsmen; Brother in-law Sonny, Son Ian and nephew Leon. The boys greeted guests and eagerly awaited Faras arrival. The ceremony was lovely, set up facing the beach, and very heartfelt. One very special element was the lighting of the candle by Ian, lit for those who could not be there in person. After they were pronounced husband and wife the guests clapped and some happily called out “Finally!”
After group and Bridal party photos we headed to the reception, held at Kristys house. The reception was fantastic and perfectly tailored to Fara and Campbell! The bride described it as rustic, simple, intimate and non traditional (when I arrived the groom was already in shorts and thongs!). There was yummy food served up by Carlas Catering Kitchen, drinks served by Steve the Bartender and amazing cakes by Muratti Cakes & Gateau.
It was a perfect day for the sweet, loving and happy couple and I am so thankful they asked me to be there to capture it all ♥
