Salvatore | Adelaide Christening

On the 14th of June Salvatore (or Tore for short) was christened at the same church his father went to years ago, surrounded by those who love him the most. Salvatore is such a gorgeous little man with a smile that is infectious!

Tore’s parents, Flor & Dave, planned this very special day down to the T. Everything was perfect! The day started by getting ready at his Aunty and Uncles house, where his Godparents, Lisa & Julian, dressed him. The whole family were there to witness this moment, but no one was as proud as Flor and Dave. The love and devotion they have for their son is so evident and super sweet to watch. After Tore was dressed and had the beautiful silver cross pendant, bought for him by his Godparents, on it was time to head to the church.

St Laurences Church was the perfect venue for the Christening with its gorgeous light filled windows, wooden pews & stunning statues. The Christening was witnessed by family and friends from near and far, and all agreed it was a lovely service. Following the Christening guests made there way to Regattas Bar & Bistro at the Adelaide Convention Centre where they were treated to a stunning reception with scrumptious food, drinks & a delectable cake by The Delicious Biscuit 🙂 Outside of the venue on the grassed area with views of the Torrens, “Tore’s Park” was setup. Consisting of a large rug, white balloons that covered each edge & an array of toys for the kids to play with it was magical! Unfortunately by this stage Salvatore had decided he was just too tired to enjoy the fun and slept up until 4pm!

It was such a wonderful day and I feel so grateful to have been there to capture it xo
