Last Friday night I have the absolute pleasure of photographing ‘Something Wild’, an event hosted by the Adelaide Hills Convention Centre to launch their new ‘Wild’ experiences.
The amazing Elly from Poppy and Pear Event Styling transformed their function room into a wild indoor garden setting. Stunning floral chandeliers hung from the ceiling accompanied by hanging festoon lights by Caso Light N’ Sound, Modern Geo furniture by White Marquee and a wine station by Howard Vineyard. The beautiful tunes sung by Zyke & Damo really set the feel of the night and guests were wowed by the sculptures and live carving from Artist in situ Robert Wuldi. Robert also played the dijeridoo and transported us with the amazing tones and rythym.
Delicious Indigenous food was served, created by in-house chefs and inspired & supplied by Something Wild. Along with the scrumptious desserts there was also ‘Anthill Cheese’ created by Kris Lloyd, Artisan from Woodside Cheese Wrights. This cheese came 11th place out of thousands of cheeses at the World Cheese Awards and is absolutely amazing!
To accompany the customised Green Ant Gin Bar, Green Ant Gin Cocktails were served on arrival and throughout the night along with the new Wattleseed Beer, both by Something Wild Beverage Company. MC Max Mason from The Henry Austin charmed the room and introduced speakers AHCC GM Victoria Fox, Kris Lloyd, AHCC owner Brian Schirripa and also hosted a live interview with Daniel Motlop from Something Wild.
What an incredible night to be apart of. It was truly spectacular and definitely the start of something amazing xo
